Arteta told possible £50 million signing ‘would be really good for Arsenal’

Arsenal have been told that the possible signing of Brighton star Moises Caicedo would be really good for the club.
The January transfer window has been open for a while now and Arsenal have started doing their transfer business – with defender Jakub Kiwior and attacker Leandro Trossard joining the club.
However – that has not stopped the speculation and the rumours that Arsenal are very much interested in a deal for the impressive Caicedo – and have even reportedly made their moves to get a deal done.
According to The Times – the Gunners have made an offer of £50 million for the powerful midfielder – but have now been told that they must pay closer to £100 million if they wish to sign the Brighton star.
Now – amid all the speculation – Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has opened up and claimed that the Brighton powerhouse would be a very good signing for the Gunners.
He told the Transfer Show: “I feel signing Moises Caicedo would be really good for Arsenal . He’s a young player who is very talented and knows the Premier League.
“I feel it’s one of the last spots in this Arsenal squad that fans and people are worried about if Thomas Partey got injured so they’re trying to address that situation.
“It’s going to be a tough run-in with Manchester City for the title but if they get the correct pieces in, they’ll give themselves a good chance.
“It was a clever initial bid but it’s difficult for Brighton to sell now.”

Caicedo is a player that is ready to make that next step in his career – play for one of the big clubs – but the money that is being talked about is crazy.
Arsenal should not pay so much for a man that still has alot to prove in the game and honestly if they do – it could be a massive mistake.
Not because Caicedo is a bad player – but because he is simply not worth £100 million, and Brighton should not be demanding such a fee.
