Arsenal can land hitman for just £15 million as Aubameyang replacement wanted

Reports have claimed that Arsenal could sign Odsonne Edouard for £15 million if they decide to let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to leave the club.

Aubameyang is a player that was banging in 20 goals a season since his move to the Bundesliga, and Arsenal made sure that they would keep hold of the Gabon hitman last summer window.

However, he struggled for goals, form and any consistency last season and looked like a player that was no longer able to score the amount of goals that Mikel Arteta was hoping for.

The north London outfit already stand to make a loss on the Gabon international having signed him for £60m in January 2018, with reports now claiming that the club will consider offers for their star striker.

According to The Times, Mikel Arteta unsatisfied with the striker’s scoring form and therefore the club could offload their highest-earning player

Earlier this summer, Arsenal were linked with a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard amid a handful of Premier League clubs, but it has been claimed that the Gunners could reignite their interest in the striker.

According to the Sun his £85k-per-week wage demands are what is putting off a number of clubs from making a move, but the Gunners have more than enough money to meet that amount, especially if they get the £350,000-a-week Auba wages off the books

And the reports suggest that Edouard is available for just £15m with a year left on his contract.

Auba is a man that could struggle once again in front of goal this season and that means that Arsenal will struggle to win games, so if there is a chance to freshen up that attack this transfer window, then the Gunners should make a move.

£15 million is not alot of money to pay, and Edouard could be worth the money
