Arsenal ready to sign ‘Very Ambitious’ Seria A star who wants Premier League move

Arsenal could be set for a bidding war over Juventus star Federico Chiesa ahead of the January transfer window.

Chiesa is a transfer target for both ARSENAL and Manchester United, according to Calciomercato. As the winger is “very ambitious” about a move to the Prem and believes top-flight English football will enrich his career.

United have suffered immensely in the flanks this term with Antony underwhelming and Jadon Sancho frozen out. Meanwhile, the North Londoners have heavily depended on Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in their wings.

The Italy international could assist Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to add more quality into his side and allow him to rotate with players, but also give him different options in that attack when things are not working.

Mikel Arteta has one of the most exciting attacks in the Premier League, but one or two injuries to the side and there could be some real issues that could scupper their chances of winning the Premier League title.

Chiesa is proven at the highest level of the game, has the ability to play in a number of positions, is a man that is made for the big games, and if he wants to come to the Premier League, London could be the ideal move to make.

The only problem with his potential arrival is that he is a starter, he will want to play every week, play every minute of every match and will not want to be backup to Saka and Martinelli.

Add that to his massive asking price, his big wages and the fact that ARSENAL are keen to sign a striker – we cant see this move happening in the January window unless Arteta really needs Chiesa signed.
