Arsenal close in on gifted Frenchman, Arteta announces delight with latest Arsenal deal, Agent confirms Arsenal offer for midfielder
Arteta delighted with Lonkoga deal, Locatelli offer made and Arsenal handed Camavinga boost in top Arsenal news….
The agent of Juventus midfielder Nicolo Fagioli has claimed that Arsenal have made an offer to sign Manuel Locatelli this summer
Locatelli has become a player that has been impressing during the European Championships and it is heavily believed that Arsenal are ready to pay around £40 million to get a transfer deal done for the midfielder.
He’s made 99 total appearances, scoring seven goals while establishing himself with Italy’s national team.
Sassuolo have already sold Brazilian defender Marlon to Shakhtar Donetsk this summer, while Federico Di Francesco went to SPAL and Hellas Verona bought Giangiacomo Magnani, and they do not have to sell their star man unless a big offer arrives
However, Juventus have been leading the chase and recently made their offer to get a deal done and are reportedly ready to offer Fagioli in a bid to win the race for the Italian international
But The agent of Fagioli insists his client will not be used as a makeweight in any bid for Sassuolo star Manuel Locatelli, with Arsenal apparently leading that chase at present after putting a €40 million (£35m/$47m) offer on the table.
Andrea D’Amico has told Sky Sport Italia: “I think Massimiliano Allegri wants to see him [Fagioli] in training to understand if he can be useful during the season.
“When he played against SPAL and Crotone last term, he proved he can be a protagonist of Juventus’ future.
“Juventus would like to sign Locatelli and Arsenal have already offered €40m.
“But I can ensure you that, as of today, Fagioli has not been included in the deal.”
This is a player that Arsenal are seemingly very interested in so it will be very interesting to see how this all develops over the next few months
Mikel Arteta has opened up and announced his delight that the Arsenal have managed to wrap up a transfer deal for midfielder Albert Lokonga
Lokonga graduated to the senior squad at Anderlecht back in 2017, and went on to appear in 78 games across all competitions for the club.
The midfielder, who recorded three goals and seven assists for the Belgian outfit, is very highly-rated by many of the coaches that he has worked with so far in his career, and Arsenal made sure that they got a deal done
Lokonga will join up with his new Arsenal team-mates ahead of their pre-season trip to Florida latest this week with a view to forcing his way into Mikel Arteta’s starting XI. He will wear No 23 with the name ‘Sambi’ on the back.
And after seeing the midfielder make his way to the Emirates, Arteta has opened up and announced just how delighted he is to see the talented Belgian ace sign, Arteta told the club website: “Albert is a very intelligent player who has shown great maturity in his performances during his development. He has been coached well by Vincent Kompany and his team at Anderlecht.
“I know Vincent very well and he talks so highly about Albert and the positive impact he had to Anderlecht in recent seasons. We’re confident Albert’s ready for the next stage in his development and we’re looking forward to welcoming a new member to our squad with his quality and presence.”
Look, we have not seen to much of the young man so we cannot comment on how good he will be at the Emirates. But he comes with a good reputation and alot to prove, so he should be hungry to show the fans just why Arsenal beat off a number of clubs to get a transfer deal done
RENNES president Nicolas Holveck has not ruled out the possibility of youngster Eduardo Camavinga leaving the club this summer.
Now, we have spoken a number of times about the reports that Mikel Arteta is keen to delve into that transfer kitty and add a few players to the squad in order to get them back into winning titles
Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football right now, Camavinga is already a full French International and is tipped to go on and become one of the best midfielders in world football.
Now, they have been handed a real boost in their bid to try and get the lad signed up after Holveck has not ruled out the possibility of youngster leaving Rennes this summer transfer window.
Holvek told French radio station RMC: “Discussions are still ongoing.
“Everything is open, either for a departure during this transfer window – if an offer satisfies everyone – or to extend [his contract].
“He won’t leave for cheap, we’ve had a lot of discussions but nothing is complete one way or another.”
If Arsenal did manage to secure a transfer deal for Camavinga, they would be getting a seriously gifted midfielder as he will develop into the player that could dominate that GUNNERS MIDFIELD
He would be costing the club alot of money, but he has his whole future ahead of him and as we said, he has the potential to develop into one of the very best midfielders in world football.
If he makes the right decisions
