Arsenal given green light to sign £70M star after attacker tells bosses he wants summer move

Arsenal have closed in on the possible signing of Callum Hudson-Odoi after he reportedly told Chelsea he wants to leave the club

Many fans then believed he would go on and develop into that world class star that many believed he would become – but he has not reached nowhere near those heights yet – and struggles to even get in the starting eleven.

And after the arrival of Raheem Sterling in the summer window and more talk that there could be another striker signed – he has fallen further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge – and is not happy

It has been claimed in recent weeks that a move to the Bundesliga could still be on as there is speculation that Borussia Dortmund are keen to snap him him – but he could be staying in the Premier League if you believe the latest news

The Chelsea Spot podcast claim ArsenalFC are in pole position to snap up Hudson-Odoi as he looks to leave the Blues for more playing time.

The report claims that Arsenal are looking to get rid of Nicolas Pepe by the end of the transfer window and reportedly see Hudson-Odoi as his replacement

Now – reports on the Football Insider website have claimed that Hudson-Odoi has now informed the Chelsea hierachy that he would like to leave the club this summer either on loan or on a permanent basis

ArsenalFC may be interested – but we cannot see this move happening – it is crazy

ArsenalFC would have to pay close to £70 million to get the players signed up and would have to give him a massive wage – so as we said – we cannot see him joining the Gunners

But we can see him leaving Chelsea
