Arsenal to make £65 million move to sign 20-goal striker

There has been some shock reports which have claimed that Arsenal are considering a move for Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

ARSENAL have once again been one of the most exciting sides to watch in the Premier League this season and had a real chance of winning that title after some stunning performances, but they ultimately fell short.

Mikel Arteta did see his side struggle in front of goal at times over the course of the season, very rarely though, as Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are not players that can score 20-30 goals a season, something that is needed at the Emirates.

Solanke started his professional career at Chelsea after spending a decade in the academy at Stamford Bridge. He was a prolific goalscorer at youth level but was rarely given the chance for the first team.

After an unsuccessful spell at Liverpool, he has found a home at Bournemouth and is finally proving he can score goals in the Premier League. he broke the 20 goal barrier and registered three assists for Bournemouth last season

And his performances have seen him tipped to move to a ‘Bix Six’ Premier League club – with Arsenal and rivals Tottenham among those linked.

Solanke is available for £65m this summer and Arsenal are one of the clubs interested, according to the Teamtalk website.

And reporter Iomie Stanley claims that ARSENAL need to sign a striker – and Solanke is a man that could score a few goals – he said: ‘ Obviously Arsenal fans want Ivan Toney – he is the number one target for the club.

‘Solanke would cost well below £50 million and is scoring goals for fun – he is the type of target man that could surprise many at the Emirates and win a few games for the club with his goals.

‘It could be a very good bit of business to get this done to solve a big problem’
