Italian confirms Mikel Arteta hopes to complete ‘dream’ signing for Arsenal

Alexander Isak remains ARSENAL ’s “dream” striker transfer target, according to reports in the media as we close in on the end of the January window.

After a stunning season last year for the Toon, Isak has really stepped up his game this campaign and firmly established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League, and a player that many clubs are interested in signing.

However – Newcastle do not want to lose their star man, and have put a massive £150 million price tag on the head of Isak, a fee that many clubs will be put off by because of that financial fair play regulations.

Isak had been in red-hot form this season with an impressive nineteen goals is still a player that Arsenal are very much interested in signing and the better that the player gets, the harder it will be to complete a move

However – Fabrizio Romano says the former Real Sociedad star remains the Gunners’ dream target in attack, though he reiterates that Newcastle will not be selling in this window.

There is no doubt that moves will be made for Isak this January and at the end of the current season, he is a player that is ready for that next step in his career, he is ready to play for a big club like ARSENAL

But can we see Arsenal paying £100-£150 million on the Swedish star? No we cannot, but we can see the likes of PSG coming in with that kind of offer.

The Gunners should have signed the big striker in the summer window, they would be closer to beating Liverpool for that Premier League title if they had the Toon star that is for sure.
