Arsenal flop makes Thomas Partey prediction after seeing midfielder make Gunners debut

New Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been backed to shine for the Gunners by one of the club’s former players.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was desperate to spend money in the transfer window and sign players that will come in and give the squad some more quality, and despite missing out on a number of possible signings, he can be happy with the business that he wrapped up.

One signing that has got many fans, and pundits excited, is the deal for Partey, who arrived at the club on deadline day in a deal that is worth £45 million, a bargain as the midfielder is worth close to £60 million.

The 27-year-old came off the bench for his debut on Saturday following his £45m arrival from Atletico Madrid on deadline day, And after seeing the midfielder make the move to the Emirates, Suarez says Thomas Partey will provide something Arsenal have been lacking under Mikel Arteta: “Arsenal lacked a player of that profile,” said Suarez on the GOAL website.

“Thomas, because of his physique, will feel comfortable in England,”

There has been so much said about the signing of Partey and many fans are expecting big things from the player, especially since he has proven himself at the very highest level of the game already.

He will need time to adapt, Arsenal fans need to know that, but he is the type of player that Arteta needs in the squad, and this is a very good deal for the club as it will give the defence a bit more cover.

He has many abilities in his game, but he has been brought in to do a job, and that is exactly what he will do, Arsenal fans should not be disappointed.
