15-assist king Fraser opens up on possible summer exit and potential Arsenal move
Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser has told the likes of Arsenal he is still unsure about his future this summer.
With Gunners boss Unai Emery seeking to add a bit more width and creativity to his Gunners attack, there has been some speculation in the media over the past few weeks which have suggested the Gunners could make a move to try and sign Fraser for a fee of £25 million.
Emery is keen to add some pace and creativity to his Gunners attack next season as he looks to push on from a fifth placed Premier League finish and has been impressed by the performances of Fraser.
Fraser scored seven goals and registered 14 assists this term and the Scotland international has also caught the attentions of Chelsea and Liverpool.
But he has admitted that he is yet to make a definitive decision on his future and is unsure what will happen this summer.
‘The lads have been asking,’ Fraser told BBC Scotland.
‘I don’t know myself so there’s no point thinking about it, wherever I’ll be, I’ll be. I don’t know what is happening. I’m not just saying that.
‘Wherever I’ll be, if it’s Bournemouth or if it’s at somebody else, then all you can do is try your best and enjoy football.
‘If you think about anything else, I’ll probably have a bad game.’
Fraser has had a very impressive season for Bournemouth this season and is seriously ready to take that next step up to the highest level of the game. And with Arsenal just the type of club that suits his style of play, he would be best off signing for the Gunners.
Emery will not have a lot of money to spend but £25 million on this guy could be a risk worth taking, especially as he is already proving that he is very capable of playing in the Premier League.
Th Gunners have a habit of buying from abroad so maybe its time to make a move for a winger like Fraser, who was a creative force for the Cherries last season.
