Arsenal free to sign up attacking winger as rivals Chelsea make £36 million transfer decision
Arsenal are free to try and sign Hakim Ziyech as Chelsea are keen to sell this transfer window.
Ziyech was signed by former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard for a small £34 million fee after establishing himself as one of the most creative and exciting wingers in world football right now.
However, after impressing in pre-season, Ziyech picked up an injury in pre-season which saw him miss the opening weeks of the season, and The 27-year-old has then failed to impress like many people had hoped
Ziyech was in and out of the lineup under Frank Lampard, but has fallen down the pecking order since he was replaced by Thomas Tuchel, and reports in the media have claimed that Chelsea are now keen to sell
It’s understood that AC Milan view Ziyech as an ideal replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu, who joined Inter on a free transfer on Tuesday, but icfootballnews has learned that Arsenal could make a move.
The Gunners were heavily linked with a move for Ziyech well before he decided to make that move to Chelsea, and with Mikel Arteta keen to add a bit more quality to his wings, he is eyeing up a number of possible transfer targets.
Ziyech is on the market for just £36 million and that is well within that money that the Gunners will be able to afford.
If CHELSEA are keen to let Ziyech leave the club, then Arsenal should definitely make a transfer move as he is just the type of player that would add something to that attack.
And add that to the fact he wants to prove himself in the Premier League, it could be a move that he may consider.
