Arsenal free sign £84M man – £50M star told to make Arsenal transfer decision – Midfielder makes Gunners decision
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Antonio Conte left Arsenal target Victor Osimhen out of his starting lineup for Napoli’s pre-season friendly defeat to Genoa as he looks to leave the club.
Osimhen is a player that ARSENAL have been linked with for the last few windows – but have a real chance of finally getting a potential deal done this summer, if they pay the right amount of money.
Napoli are open to selling Osimhen – the striker has admitted he wants to leave and the premier League is somewhere he would like to be playing – Which is why the Blues have been tipped to secure a transfer deal.
However – his £111 million asking price has stopped most clubs from making a move for the striker – which has led to alot of rumours that a move to PSG is also on the agenda for the big man.
But with ARSENAL reportedly back in the hunt for the big man – Conte sent a big message to Osimhen after he was left out of his starting lineup for Napoli’s pre-season friendly loss to Genoa
Osimhen, meanwhile, continues to train with Napoli but has not featured in any of their preparation games this summer as the club continue to negotiate his exit.
The former Chelsea and Spurs boss has previously hinted the club have agreed to let the striker leave for the right price.
“I know that there are agreements with the club, it’s a totally different situation, which I’ll witness,” said Conte. “Then if you ask me about the player, he’s a top player, but I can’t get into any discussions about Osimhen because these are previous agreements.”

Arsenal needs a striker – they need someone like Osimhen to some in and make an impact – the simple answer would be for the Gunners to sign the man – but his asking price, wage and demands never make it simple.
DANI OLMO DECISION MADE –
According to Caughtoffside reporter Matteo Moretto – Arsenal linked Dani Olmo has decided where he would like to move too this summer.
Dano Olmo had a brilliant season with RB Leipzig last season and then really impressed at the Euros for Spain – which has led to alot of speculation that all the big Premier League sides are very interested in a deal for the midfielder.
ARSENAL have been linked with a move for the midfielder in recent weeks – but it seems that the Spanish star has made a decision about where he would like to be if he does decide to leave Leipzig this transfer window
“Barcelona already have an agreement in principle with Dani Olmo, and the player only wants to go to Barcelona, and he is putting pressure on RB Leipzig to make the deal happen,” Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing.
“Barcelona have almost offered the €60m asking price, the last offer we have information on was €55m, plus €4m in easy variables, and €3m that were harder to achieve.
“I believe they are still discussing the bonuses and the payment schedule, and it may be that Barcelona need to up their offer a little. The clubs are negotiating though, and clearly, Leipzig will try to make as much money as they can on a player that is key for them.
“The talks are heading in the right direction though, and I think will come down to how much Barcelona pay in bonuses and how much in a fixed fee, perhaps altering that.
“The player is pushing for the move, Barcelona are very confident in doing the deal and think it could happen, and then there’s Leipzig — they know Olmo wants to go, so they will negotiate, but right now, there is optimism.
RAMSDALE TOLD FIGHT OR LEAVE –
Aaron Ramsdale has been told that he has a big decision to make over his future by staying at Arsenal or leaving.
Ramsdale has been the subject of intense speculation over the past few months as there is a massive feeling that he wanted out of ARSENAL – that he wanted to leave the club after they signed David Raya on a permanent basis.
However – over the past few weeks the speculation has died down a bit and interest in the England stopper has wavered – which suggested that he would be open to staying and fight for his place in the Gunners side.
Now amid all the speculation and rumors – Ray Parlour has told Ramsdale that he will need to decide this summer whether he stays at the Emirates or leaves to fight for his England future
Parlour told Mirror Sport: “It’s gonna be difficult for Aaron, because he’s in that England squad and really wants to get an opportunity. He wants to play football, he’s had that taste of playing week in, week out for Arsenal. I think it’s at that time where you’ve got to make big decisions as a manager.
“The [Raya] deal was done, and it’s not a bad deal really, £25m for a goalkeeper. But Aaron has now got to make a big decision about what he does, whether he sticks around and waits for his opportunity again or whether he says, ‘Look, my time’s up at ARSENAL, but I’m gonna prove people wrong, prove Arteta wrong and start playing No1 for England.’ So that’s all he can do really – I think he will move on, because his appetite is to play every week.
“It’ll be sad to see him go, but you’ve got think for yourself sometimes for your own career. And if it’s going nowhere and you miss two years of it, you’ll regret it in the end.
‘So I think Aaron’s got to make a big decision with his family and the club. Whatever club he goes to, I’m sure they’re gonna get a top-class goalkeeper.”
