Arsenal ‘have offered big contract’ to try and convince superstar Aubameyang to sign up!
Arsenal have reportedly tried to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay by offering him a new contract.
Aubameyang continues to be linked with a move away from the Emirates as reports indicate that he has no intention of signing a new contract that will keep him at the Emirates for the next few seasons.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in a deal, and are just waiting for the Coronavirus pandemic to pass so they can open talks and try to secure a deal for Aubameyang
And with all reports suggesting that he is not keen to sign back, up there has been alot of speculation in the media about whom could be signed in the summer to replace Aubameyang and his goals.
However, According to L’Equipe, the Gunners have put an offer on the table for Aubameyang to extend his deal in North London, but the Gabon striker has not yet decided on whether or not he wants to stay and will wait to see what offers actually arrive in the transfer window.
Arsenal are a club that want to be challenging for titles, they want to be the best and they want to have the best of players in the side, but the transfer policy over the years has meant that the club are a long way off challenging for the big titles.
Aubameyang is a big players and wants trophies, and if Arsenal cannot offer him that, then yes he should leave.
It may be a loss for Arsenal, but they do not want players in the side that care about money more than playing for the club do they?
But they need to make sure that they use the money that they get from the sale of Aubameyang to sign a quality striker that will score the goals they will need, and not some youngster that has potential.
