Big £100M transfer decision opens door for Arteta to get statement Arsenal deal done!
Arsenal have been given a boost in their chase to sign Victor Osimhen – as new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca reportedly does not want the Napoli star.
Christopher Nkunku has been injured for alot of the season, while Nicolas Jackson has only shown glimpses of the potential that many believe he has, and has been backed to never be a 30 goal a season striker.
Mikel Arteta too is keen to add a striker to his impressive Arsenal attack at some point in the coming transfer window as that is an area that needs to be improved on with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus linked with moves away.
That has led to many reports in the media that Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG are ready to fight over the future of Osimhen after he decided that he would leave Napoli in the transfer window and seek a move away from the Italians.
It has recently been claimed that the Premier League clubs were leading the chase for the Nigerian star – as Osimhen would like to test himself in the Premier League against the best teams.
But According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Tutto Mercato, Maresca isn’t keen on the idea of signing Napoli striker.
The report claims Maresca doesn’t appear to fancy Osimhen despite his prolific goal record for the Serie A side, netting 48 goals in the last two campaigns, as he does not suit the style that he would like to employ at Stamford Bridge.
The news will be a boost to Arsenal – who are reportedly ready to pay big money in order to sign Osimhen.

If the reports are true and Chelsea are no longer keen on Osimhen – then ARSENAL should try and get a deal done. He is a top level striker that would bang in the goals at the Emirates.
