Arteta given chance to sign £60M star after Arsenal target tells club he wants move

Arsenal have been given the chance to try and sign Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi after he told the club he wants to leave

The English winger, 21, was considered one of the hottest properties in world football just a few years ago – and a player that was tipped to become one of the very best in the world

His performances even attracted the interested of German Champions Bayern Munich – who were ready to make him one of their highest-paid players at the age of just 18, but he signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge.

But after the arrival of Raheem Sterling in the summer window and more talk that there could be another striker signed – he has fallen further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge – and is not happy

It has been claimed in recent days that he has not told the Chelsea board that he is looking to leave – and there are numerous clubs that are interested in trying to get a deal done

And with the many reports in the media that Mikel Arteta is still looking to add another winger to the side – IcFootballnews has learned that they have now joined the four other clubs interested in Hudson-odoi

It may be that Chelsea is not the place for him – it is not the place he can develop and improve – maybe a move away is the best thing for his career

Chelsea fans will not want to see him depart – but they would also hate if he chose a move across London

But the way ArsenalFC play – the fact that many youngsters are given a chance – it could be a smart move if this were to actually happen
