Arsenal have contacted £75M valued star about stunning move across London

ARSENAL are interested in signing Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, according to journalist Alex Goldberg.

Chelsea are one of the best sides in the game – there is no doubt about that and have some world class players – but the one thing that they are missing is a world class striker.

Graham Potter and Frank Lampard currently used Kai Havertz as his top man – and he does ok at times – but he is not a natural goal-scorer that can hold the ball up etc – and struggled last season,

He has been linked with a move away from west London after another frustrating season in which he scored just seven goals in 35 Premier League games.

And despite Havertz’s struggles at Chelsea, Madrid have been keeping an eye on him over the past 12 months and are now closing in on a transfer deal, according to the Sun.

However – the Metro has now claimed that Arsenal are interested in a move for the German star

It has been claimed Mikel Arteta’s side have touched base with the players’ representatives, with Chelsea set demand a transfer fee of £75m for the services of their in-demand prized asset this summer.

If CHELSEA used Havertz in his preferred position – he would be a massive player for the club – he really is a very gifted player.

He is no a striker and that was a mistake to play him in that position rather than actually buying a new striker.

If the reports are true and he is on his way out of the club – we are not sure that he is a player that will do any better at ARSENAL than what he is doing at Chelsea
