Mikel Arteta drops hint more signings on way to Arsenal

Mikel Arteta suggests more signings as Arsenal seeks ‘healthy competition’ following Gabriel Jesus injury.

ARSENAL have already made huge strides over the past few weeks to improve their squad for the upcoming season, having finished the last campaign in second and just short of the Premier League title.

A lack of quality in depth may have played a huge part in that, so changes have been addressed quickly and the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber have all been brought into the club.

However – there is still time for the Gunners to get some more transfer business done, and now Mikel Arteta has dropped a massive hint that he would like to bring in a few more players to the side.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

In response to the ongoing transfer activities, Mikel Arteta stated, “Well, we’re in the process. We’re working on a few things. We have to make a few decisions.

‘We’re very happy with the squad we have, that’s for sure. We want a healthy competition in the squad, and we’re working on that.”

SHOULD MAN CITY BE WORRIED?

Yes they should – Arteta has made some brilliant signings that have improved that ARSENAL squad.

Arsenal only lost that title last season because of injuries towards the end of the season and now that new signings have been brought in – they will be alot stronger.

It should be an exciting season once again next year as Arteta has been signing some very good players that will make an immediate impact on the side.

As we said there are plenty more weeks left in the transfer window for Arsenal to get deal done – it will be interesting to see just who else could arrive.
