Sporting Director statement opens door for Arsenal to sign world class act!

Arsenal target Joshua Kimmich looks like he could be sold by Bayern Munich this summer – judging by sporting director Max Eberl comments

The German midfielder sees his contract at Bayern expire in 2025 with no progress as yet of an extension. As a result, Plettenberg, writing on X, suggests ARSENAL are one of the possible destinations for Kimmich in the next 12 months.

He also claimed that Bayern would be open to the idea of letting the German star leave this summer rather than letting him go for nothing at the end of next season.

Now Eberl has made it clear that Bayern themselves may think it’s best to move on from the versatile player: “Joshua is a very good player, but it is generally true that professional football is a competitive sport – we cannot say to any player per se: ‘Hey, you are the one who is going to play,'” Eberl told Welt am Sonntag.

“I’m just saying what applies to everyone. We have exciting players in all positions and therefore many alternatives.

Kimmich is one of the best midfielders in the world and a man that Bayern fans will not want to see depart the club in the next transfer window – so this news will come as a shock to the system.

ARSENAL have been doing some very good business over the past couple of transfer windows  -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.

He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.

If he is on the market – he would be a great signing for Arsenal – it is that simple.
