Arsenal looking to upset London rivals with possible signing of Brazilian

It has been claimed that ARSENAL are ready to rival Chelsea in a bid to sign Corinthians sensation Moscardo.

Moscardo is the latest talent to attract the attention of Todd Boehly’s heavy-spending Chelsea, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Reports suggest that the Blues have made a €21m offer for the 17-year-old starlet.

CHELSEA have a transfer plan that revolves around some of the best young talent in the game and they are keen to keep on spending over the next couple of months, even though the transfer window has closed for the Premier League.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

As per an update from Spanish outlet Sport, Chelsea remain interested in Moscardo and will try to make him their first signing of 2024.

However, according to a report on the Fichajes.net website Mikel Arteta’s side is actively looking to bolster their roster with young talents and views Moscardo as a player who can make a difference in their squad in the future.

The report adds that Edu’s connections and ability to communicate with the Brazilian star, his family, and his current club could play a pivotal role in securing Moscardo’s signature for Arsenal.

He is not needed at CHELSEA; he is not a player that Mauricio Pochettino wants and is not a player that fans will get excited about. So it is probably a good thing that Arsenal are now reportedly interested in a deal.

He would be much more likely to get a chance at the Emirates, would not get lost in the system unless he is not good enough and would love the Brazilian connection at Arsenal.

If the reports are true, a move to ARSENAL would be the better option at this stage – but we believe that he does not even need to come to Europe, stay in Brazil and gain a bit more experience.
