£25 million Arsenal target confirms interest in joining Manchester United

Arsenal target Hirving Lozano has admitted his interest in signing for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.

Lozano was hugely impressive for Mexico in the group stage of the showpiece tournament in Russia, and has attracted a lot of interest from the likes of Barcelona, Juventus, Arsenal and Liverpool in the last few months.

But with Gunners boss Unai Emery still looking to improve his squad, he has been eyeing up possible deals which would improve the attack at the Emirates, and already made contact with the representatives of Lozano about a possible transfer deal, reports have claimed.

However, Lozano has admitted that he would be interested in signing for United in the coming transfer windows, as speculation continues to grow that Jose Mourinho is desperate to add another forward to the front-line in case Anthony Martial rejects the £45 million rated contract offer that will be placed on the table.
It is no secret the Frenchman is eyeing up a move away from Old Trafford after falling down the pecking order at the club, and Mourinho knows he must add in key areas if he is to challenge Manchester City for the title.

The highly-rated winger has only recently signed a new contract to stay at PSV until 2023, but it is believed the Dutch giants would be willing to do a transfer deal for a sum of £25 million.

“I liked Manchester United a lot,” he told talkSPORT’s Universo Premier podcast.

“In Spain my favourite team is Barcelona.”

Here is what we think on a potential United deal.

The Mexican showed great pace, skill and ability to take players on at the World Cup and despite having a number of top-class players at Old Trafford, Lozano would add something different to the attack.

However, Mourinho needs to add world class players to his squad in the next few windows to make his side constant Premier League and Champions League winners and should go for the likes of Klyian Mbappe, Gareth Bale or Willian.
