Emery has been told to get £50 million man signed for Arsenal after Keown announcement!

Robbie Lyle, host of ArsenalFanTV, urged Unai Emery to make a move and complete a summer deal for Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

The big ball-playing centre-half has been a revelation in the heart of the England squad during this years World Cup and has been constantly praised for some of his world class performances.

And he has now been linked with a mega money move to one of the Premier Leagues biggest clubs, with a reported £50 million the price to pay to acquire his services.

The giant centre-back joined Leicester City from Hull in 2017 and has seen his career go from strength to strength while at the King Power Stadium.

But it could have been so different for Maguire with Keown admitting he was once sent to watch the 25-year-old by former Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

“Somebody asked me to take a look at him and I thought he was a decent player,” said Keown.

“They thought he was a big player, but was he going to be mobile enough?

“I think he’s gone on to prove all the qualities he needs to be a top player.”

Now Lyle has urged the club to reconsider after his stellar performances in Russia.

He was quoted on the Daily Star website: “He’s a big guy, as they said, but he is mobile,” he said.

“He’s very skilful, brilliant at bringing the ball out from the back and, against Sweden, he won every header.

“Surely Leicester wouldn’t be able to refuse a big offer?

“He would be perfect for Arsenal and we should try and sign him in that defensive area.”

Maguire has been one of the standout performers for England this World Cup and has proven that he is able to compete at the very highest level, and look accomplished doing it.

So would fans like him to arrive?
