Arsenal make decision about 43-goal star as Premier League striker wanted!
Arsenal are set to end their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres this summer transfer window, it has been claimed.
Arsenal had a brilliant season last year and almost won that Premier League title – but the fact they did not have a 20 goal a season striker in that attack is the main reason why they couldnt stop Man City from winning that title
And that has led to constant speculation in the media over the past few months that ARSENAL will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add another striker to that attack that has the ability to score goals and Gyokeres is reportedly on the list.
The Swedish striker has been in sensational form this season scoring 43 goals in all competitions for the club last season and is a player that all the big clubs are after.
With that in mind, Betfair have provided the latest odds regarding the 26-year-old’s future and have Arsenal at 4/1 to get a deal done for the striker.
But according to the Daily Express, Arsenal are set to end their pursuit of Viktor Gyokeres this summer with Mikel Arteta reportedly turning his attention to a current Premier League star.
The manager prefers a forward who can operate in a versatile role, with Gykoeres not thought to fit in with this vision. It is not mentioned who the Gunners may target in the Premier League

Gyokeres is enjoying some of the best football of his life and is scoring goals on a regular basis – he could thrive in that Arsenal attack with the creative players ARSENAL have.
If it is not Gyokeres that makes the move to the Emirates – it will be very interesting to see just who the Gunners end up with as they need to sign a striker before the start of the new season.
