Arsenal Make Offer To Sign €100m La Liga star – Saka ‘Could Get Kicked out of Game’ – Zubimendi claim
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
Arsenal legend Bob Wilson fears Bukayo Saka will have to RETIRE by 25 years of age if continues to be “kicked out of the game”.
After breaking through the system at the Emirates a few seasons ago – Saka has developed into one of the best young players in the Premier League and one of the best wingers in the game.
He is really a player that Mikel Arteta can rely on on a weekly basis – and is a player that scores so many goals for ARSENAL – he really is missed when he is not on that pitch for Mikel.
But Wilson, 82, who won the Premier League-FA Cup double with ARSENAL in 1971, believes the aggressive treatment from opposition players could significantly shorten Saka’s career.
Speaking to The Telegraph, he said: “What drives me demented is we have one of the best young players and, if we aren’t careful, football will lose him by the time he is 24 or 25 because Bukayo Saka will have been kicked out of the game.
“Referees don’t seem to see or understand it.
“There are always a minimum of two players within five yards of Saka and often a third. If they can’t stop him, they kick him.
“People say, ‘What do you mean? That’s too dramatic’. I say there has not been a more kicked player in the Premier League than Bukayo Saka.
“If he is facing in an attacking position, and he is taking them on, that is the time I worry. I really worry for Bukayo.”
He went on to add: “I see Saka up with the greats… if he is not kicked out of the game.
“He is clever, dangerous, and knows when to release it. I love him on one side and [Gabriel] Martinelli, with his sheer pace, on the other.”
ZUBIMENDI FOR BARGAIN?
Arsenal could attempt to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi this summer, and less for the £51 million that is being talked about.
Arsenal were looking to add a few more players to the side during the Summer window and were heavily linked with a move for the impressive Zubimendi – who has been very good over in La Liga over the past few seasons
In the end however, ARSENAL FC made the decision to move for a few other players and opted to not splash the £53 million it would have taken to bring Zubimendi to the Premier League.
However – they have continued to keep an eye on the young man and According to a recent report on AS – uncertainties about his future at the Spanish club have arisen, with his representatives now open to exploring new opportunities for him.
Arsenal could decide to trigger his £51million release clause in order to complete a deal quickly.
However, the starting point for negotiations is expected to be lower.

Zubimendi has been brilliant for Sociedad over the past few seasons and we can easily see why the Gunners scouts too such an interest in the man, he really has been impressive.
If the reports are true and ARSENAL FC are keen on a deal to bring the man to the Premier League – he could be a very solid addition to the side and a player that Mikel Arteta could really rely on.
But the transfer window is many months away – so fans will have to deal with alot more transfer talk until then.
ARSENAL MAKE RODRYGO OFFER –
Arsenal have reportedly made a new offer for the Real Madrid forward Rodrygo after the 23-year-old’s club rejected offers from Gunners’ rivals Liverpool.
There are some big changes coming in the summer for LIVERPOOL with the departure of Jurgen Klopp – who has admitted that he will be leaving the club at the end of the current seasons.
But there has also been some speculation that the likes of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz could be open to departing the Reds in the summer – as there are some big clubs interested and alot of money being talked about, wich has left to speculation about Rodrygo.
After the La Liga giants rejected their initial offer, according to Nacional (Via Sky Sports), the Reds have gone back in with another offer.
Liverpool have reportedly increased their original bid from €60m (£51.4m) to €80m (£68.5m) in an attempt to secure Rodrygo’s services.
However, reports suggest that Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez, remains steadfast in his stance and has rejected the advances of Liverpool, opening the door for ARSENAL – according to the Goal website.
It is no secret that Mikel and Arsenal are fans of the Real Madrid star and would love to add him to tat attack, should he come onto the market.

Rodrygo is a world class act – but we are certain that he wants to stay at Madrid and will do everything he can to prove that he is able to compete for a starting spot.
It will be a very interesting summer for fans though that is for sure – but we are sure that ARSENAL will not pay the money that Madrid want
