Arsenal ‘have made’ offer to sign Manchester United midfielder Pereira

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is considering an offer from Arsenal, according to reports circulating in the media right now.

Arsenal have been keeping a close eye on the young mans situation at Old Trafford, as he has become frustrated at his lack of game time under former boss Jose Mourinho.

The special one stopped utilising the talent at the club towards the back end of his career at United and Pereira, who is regarded as one of the most exciting talents at the club, was seemingly dropped from his plans altogether.

Pereira’s contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he would be available on the cheap next month, and Brazilian outlet UOL claim Arsenal are just one of a number of clubs which have put an offer on the table for him to consider during the January transfer window.

But despite his contract running out in just a few months time, he wait until the summer to see how new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer utilises him before making any decision, as he reportedly wants to stay put at Old Trafford.

Could he be a good signing for Arsenal?

Pereira is a real talent and United need to consider offering him a new contract, as he will develop into a top-class Premier League player in the coming seasons.

But Arsenal showed against Liverpool just how far they are away from regaining the title and need ready-made players that will make an impact now, not in a few seasons.

They need to buy defenders during the January window and need to focus on landing a world class centre-half, then they can worry about making offers for talents like Pereira.
