Arsenal have made decision about bringing Wilshere back to the Emirates
Arsenal have no interest in re-signing Jack Wilshere, reports have come out and revealed.
The 28-year-old is searching for a new club after having his West Ham contract mutually terminated on Monday, and there has been some shock speculation that he could make a sensational return to the Arsenal.
The England international midfielder, who is a product of the Gunners’ academy system, is a free agent at present after seeing his contract terminated by West Ham and could have got a move back to the Emirates as Mikel Arteta seeks to add a bit of depth to the squad.
However, reports on the Daily Star have revealed that Arsenal have made the decision that they have no desire to make a move and bring Wilshere back to the club, opening the door for Rangers to complete a transfer deal.
Adrian Durham recently claimed it makes sense for Jack Wilshere to seal a stunning return to Arsenal.
Durham said on the TalkSport website: “I’ve heard a rumour that Jack Wilshere was going to go back to Arsenal.
“I know people might scoff at it, but actually I think there’s a lot of sense there.
“He won’t be playing every week, but with a Europa League campaign, I think he’ll be well managed by Arteta.
“I think it’ll be a sentimental thing but I think it’ll be a positive thing for Jack Wilshere to go back to Arsenal and contribute.
“There’s unfinished business for Jack at Arsenal. He was meant to do something really special at Arsenal Football Club.
“If he goes back there he’s got an understanding manager who will put his arm around him and allow him that time to stay fit and to play and express himself.
“I think it could be the perfect thing for him.”
Arsenal fans would not like to see this happen, Wilshere is surely done at the very top of the game?
