Arsenal to announce Big transfer signing before mouth-watering encounter?
Arsenal could confirm the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk before their mouth-watering encounter against Manchester United, it has been claimed.
The Premier League leaders have already seen two offers for the Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder rejected but remain in talks with the Ukrainian club.
Arsenal’s most recent offer is thought to have been worth around £60m, falling considerably short of the player’s valuation, as Donetsk reportedly want around £86 million for their star man.
Mudryk has travelled to Turkey on Shakhtar’s mid-season training camp following the winter break in the Ukrainian top-flight, but that has not stopped all the rumours that Arsenal were still keen to make sure that he is a Gunners by the end of the window.
According to reports by journalist Rudy Galetti – it seems that both clubs have agreed a fee for the young man that will cost the Gunners a massive £76-80 million.
Galetti tweeted: “Talks between #Arsenal and #Shakhtar are entering in the final stage.
“Both clubs agreed on the overall amount of the transfer (around €85/90m), now they are discussing the balance fixed/add-ons.
“The next few days will be decisive for this step”
Now The Times has reported that Arsenal could have signed Mudryk by the time they meet Erik ten Hag’s men.
It comes after Mudryk appeared to have confirmed his switch to Arsenal is set to happen after posting a photo of himself in a Gunners shirt.

He is not yet worth the money that is being talked about and could be another Nicolas Pepe, so why take the risk once again when there are players in the Premier League that would be better signings?
