Haaland makes Real Madrid demand that could effect Arsenal deal for £60 million midfielder
If Erling Haaland joins Real Madrid at the end of the season, if could mean that the Arsenal board will not be able to secure a permanent transfer deal for Martin Odegaard.
Since his arrival to the Emirates during the January transfer window, Odegaard has become a big part of the Mikel Arteta side on a weekly basis and there have been calls from many people urging the club to secure him on a permanent deal.
It is no secret that Madrid want to keep the player as they have big hopes for the lad, but if he feels that staying at Madrid will not be good for his career, there has been come talk in the media which have claimed that he may try and force through a move to the Emirates, although Haaland could scupper that idea.
WHAT IS THE LATEST?
Spanish Radio Station, Onda Cero claims that the striker has made a move to Madrid a priority and his entourage spoke to the Spanish giants recently.
Both parties discussed his transfer and his representatives told Los Blancos that he also wants to be a Galactico.
However, the striker also made a demand that concerns Arsenal as he told the Spanish side that he wants to be club teammates with Odegaard when he moves to Spain.
Arsenal had a very big battle in trying to secure a deal for Odegaard anyways, nevermind if Haaland makes the move to the Bernabeu. So it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out as Odegaard would be a very good long-term signing for Arsenal.
So Arsenalfc fans will surely be hoping that Haaland does not make that move to Madrid in the summer?
