Arsenal: Owner welcomes brand new signing after very late deadline day deal announfed!
Fulham owner Tony Khan has opened up and welcomed summer signing Reiss Nelson to the club after Arsenal made the decision to allow the young winger to leave the club for the next 12 months.
Like his new teammates Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi, Nelson is a product of the highly successful Hale End academy at ARSENAL , joining the club at the age of eight.
Nelsons season-long loan with Fulham will be his third loan spell, following valuable experience with German side Hoffenheim in the 2018/19 season, and Dutch club Feyenoord in the 2021/22 season
Tony Khan said: “I’m very happy to welcome Reiss Nelson to Fulham Football Club! Reiss is a talented young player, and we’re excited that he’s joined the squad on loan!
“His arrival concludes a busy transfer window for the Club, and we’re all looking forward to a great season ahead!

Nelson has been linked with moves away from ARSENAL for the last few seasons – he should have left years ago – but this will give him an opportunity to show what he can do at Fulham – it is a very good move for the Cottagers to make.
And maybe one day – he will get a more permanent move away from the club as he now needs to showcase his ability in the Premier League.
Fulham will give him game time and opportunities to impress – he just needs to show that he is able to play against some of the best players in the English game on a weekly basis.
This could be the last chance he gets to show that he can compete in the Premier League – he needs to make sure that he takes it.
