Arsenal target ‘is playing like man possessed’ at World Cup!

Herculez Gomez has claimed that Arsenal transfer target and Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is playing ‘like a man possessed’ at the World Cup in Qatar

Despite some decent performances in that Chelsea shirt – Pulisic has not hit the heights that many had hoped for and has fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Raheem Sterling

That has led to some shock reports in the media which have claimed that he is ready to leave the club – and Chelsea are very much open to letting him leave Stamford Bridge if they receive the right offer – and Arsenal are reportedly interested.

The USA are through to the knockout stages of the World Cup and Pulisic has been involved in both of the crucial goals scored by his nation – and he looks nothing like the player that has been struggling for the Blues.

Now – after watching the American Perform at the World Cup – Gomez has claimed that Pulisic is playing ‘like a man possessed’

He told ESPN.

“How many goals have the US men’s national team have at the World Cup,” asked Gomez. “Who has been involved in both goals? Goal and assist for Pulisic

“This man is putting things on his shoulders. He is tired of hearing the rhetoric. He’s tired of the narrative of the English Premier League, that he’s not ready and he’s a role player.

“He understands the situation at Chelsea and he wants more. He is playing like a man possessed. He has been one of the best players for the US men’s national team.”

Pulisic looks like a world class winger at the World Cup – his speed, quality on the ball and ability is really showing.

However – playing against teams like Iran and Wales will do that – in the Premier League on a weekly basis it is a totally different story
