Arsenal board told €80 million will get Deal Done after first Offer submitted!

It has been claimed that Barcelona have stuck a hefty price tag on the head of ARSENAL transfer target Raphinha.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

The Brazil international bid farewell to the Premier League when completing a big-money transfer from Leeds to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, and had hoped to take that next step in his development.

He has shown glimpses of what he is capable of while in Catalunya, with 19 goals recorded over 80 appearances, but has not been the hit that many would have hoped, which has led to alot of speculation in the media.

Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player, according to Diario Sport. 

However, Barcelona have made it clear that they will not entertain offers below €80 million for one of their prized assets

Raphinha has recently sent a statement of intent to stay at Barcelona in the summer window and revealed that he has no intenton of departing the Nou Camp anytime soon.

He said: “I have a few more years on my contract and I plan to fulfil them, I have already said many times that signing for Barcelona was a dream, and I will do everything possible to stay here for many years.”

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But ARSENAL do not need to sign a player that does not want to move.

If he is forced to move on – his heart wont be in it anymore, the desire wont be there, it would end up being a pointless transfer.
