Forget Mudryk as Arsenal have now opened talks to sign £50M Brazilian
It has been claimed that Arsenal have now made a move to sign Barcelona winger Raphinha.
After establishing himself as one of the very best wingers in the Premier League over at Leeds – big clubs started circling over the summer for the signature of Raphinha.
Arsenal looked destined to win the race after entering the chase very early – but in the end, it was Barcelona that came calling and convinced Raphinha to make the move to the Camp Nou instead.
However – Raphinha has scored just two goals in 20 outings this season and Spanish outlet El Chiringuito have now reported that he has already been identified for a possible transfer as Barcelona look to balance their finances.
It is no secret that the Spanish giants are in financial trouble and will need to start balancing those books and letting stars leave before they are able to start acquiring players once again
Mikel Arteta’s side set to miss out on Mykaihlo Mudryk, he has decided to join Chelsea and According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal have made contact with Barcelona over the signing of Raphinha.
Mikel Arteta has a side that are sitting top of the Premier League and playing some wonderful football – but he knows that he needs to add some more depth to the squad in order to carry on their pursuit of that Premier League title.
And adding a player like Raphinha to the squad, who can play across the whole front-line, may be attractive for the Spaniard.

Raphinha may have not had the best time of it over at Barcelona – but he has proven himself in the Premier League so Arsenal know that they would be getting a man that could help them out for the remainder of the season.
But his high asking price and his massive wages may be a problem.
