Huge news from Spain as Arsenal ready to pay strikers 70 million Euros release clause

In-demand striker Alexander Isak could head to Arsenal this summer with the Gunners prepared to pay his release clause.

The transfer window has been open for the last couple of weeks and although many of the Arsenal staff, players and management are enjoying some time off, there is still alot of rumours about potential new signings.

It is no secret that Arsenal will be in need of adding a new striker to the squad over the course of the transfer window, with Odsonne Edouard and the likes of Danny Ings all linked with a move to the club.

However, there has been some reports over the past few weeks which have suggested that Arsenal are ready to pay a bit of money to try and secure the services of Isak.

The striker has been in fine form for his club and country over the last year and Arsenal has been watching him. He scored 17 goals for Real Sociedad last season and has followed that up by terrorising defences at Euro 2020.

Now, amid the reports that some big clubs are seeking to try and get a transfer deal done, Spanish publication AS has claimed that Arsenal are now prepared to meet the asking price of Isak to get a deal done

They haven’t spoken to his current club yet, but they have opened talks with his representatives, and The report says they want to know if he would be willing to join them this summer.

But If he agrees to move to the Emirates, Arsenal will pay his release clause of around 70m euros.

Look, Isak is decent but will be really make that much impact at the club in the coming seasons?
