Arsenal board have been advised to get rid of duo in the summer transfer window

Tony Adams has advised Arsenal to sell Hector Bellerin and Cedric Soares in the coming transfer window.

Despite being a big part of the squad under Mikel Arteta this season, there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that both Bellerin and Soares could be players that could be sold in the summer.

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta will be looking to add some fresh players to that squad of his, as his current set of players are just about good enough to get back into a European place, never mind challenge for that Premier League title.

Now, amid the speculation, The Gunners legend told Stadium Astro that Arsenal should indeed get rid of Bellerin and Soares in the summer, he said of the defensive duo: “If you’re bringing players in who are a lesser standard, you don’t get someone that’s less than what you’ve got.

“Cedric, is he better than Bellerin? Have you made an improvement there? Take it or leave it.

“Or are you telling me we need two? Get rid of two and get a good one! That would be the opinion that I would have.”

Look, it will be very interesting to see just who comes and who goes out of the club in the summer transfer window, as all indications suggest that there will be some big changes in the transfer window.

The squad is simply not good enough, Bellerin and Soares have not been good enough, so maybe the club should listen to Adams?
