‘100 per cent convinced’ as Italian announces arsenal to sign up brilliantly gifted midfielder

Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Emile Smith-Rowe will be agreeing a new contract with the club

A product of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, Smith Rowe broke into their first team last December and established himself as an influential presence in one of the creative attacking-midfield roles

His performances for the Gunners since that breakthrough into the first team has led to alot of excitement about how far he could go in the game, with many Arsenal fans hoping that he could help lead the club back to that Premier League title.

However, Aston Villa have made their latest move to bolster Dean Smith’s squad ahead of the new Premier League season by submitting a bid to Arsenal for England ace, which is believed to be around the £25 million mark.

Villa’s offer for the 20-year-old has been rejected by the north London side, who are in the process of trying to renew the player’s contract and have no intention of selling, and amid all the speculation, Romano has given the fans some big news.

Fabrizio Romano insists that there is nothing to worry about and that the gifted midfielder will indeed sign a new contract at the club.

He told his Here We Go Podcast: “Aston Villa are really in love with this player & want to try again for Smith Rowe but what I’m told is he is set to sign his new contract with Arsenal.

Also before his holidays he was 100% convinced about going to sign the contract with Arsenal.”

Fans would no doubt be furious if we were to allow Emile to leave the club, so the reports that he is about to sign a new contract is some great news.
