Owner makes OFFICIAL statement with Arsenal looking to sign £65M star
Bournemouth are expecting Arsenal target Dominic Solanke to stay this summer – despite his £65million release clause.
Arsenal had a brilliant season last year and almost won that Premier League title – but the fact they did not have a 20 goal a season striker in that attack is the main reason why they couldnt stop Man City from winning that title
And that has led to constant speculation in the media over the past few months that ARSENAL will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add another striker to that attack – and Solanke has been linked with a shock move to London.
Cherries owner Bill Foley confirmed Solanke has a set fee in his contract which, if met, would allow the forward to negotiate a move to other clubs, but has admitted that he believes the striker will stay at the club: “I believe Dom is going to be with us this coming year.
“He has a release clause, which is very expensive.
“We shouldn’t reveal anything about the contract but that area (£65m) sounds roughly correct. I guess if someone comes for him, we are going to have to replace him.
“We have two or three candidates that we have lined up. But I believe Dom will be here next year and I believe he is going to score 21 or 22 goals.”

In that ARSENAL attack – most strikers would thrive and score alot of goals – but this may be a move that will never happen for Solanke as Arsenal have other targets that they are more interested in signing.
Maybe the best thing for the man is to stay put – he is performing very well at Bournemouth and is the main man – that could chance if he leaves after one good season guys.
