Mikel Arteta has been urged to ‘splash the cash’ and bring brilliant midfielder to Arsenal
Splash the cash and sign Aston Villa Jack Grealish, the Arsenal board have been told.
After a stunning first season in the Premier League, Grealish was linked with all sorts of clubs over the summer transfer window, and many expected him to leave the Villians in search of superstardom.
However, he opted to stay at the club, and the decision was a right one as he has made an unbelievable start to the new season and is now one of the most creative players in the Premier League, with his performances linking him again with a big move.
Recent reports have claimed Arsenal remain keen on bringing Grealish to the Emirates, although his value has risen following his brilliant season so far for Villa – with his performances helping them to fifth in the Premier League table.
Now, former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes, as he spoke to Piers Morgan, that Arsenal need to splash the cash and try to secure a transfer deal for Grealish: “I think they have to spend,” Redknapp explained on his own podcast.
“They are way off it, at the moment. They need to bring a bit of quality. Arsenal is a massive football club – Take a Grealish. He needs to play at the bigger club.”
Morgan would love to see him at his club and said ‘I would break the bank for Grealish and build the team around him.’
We are massive fans of Grealish and firmly believe that he is jus the type of player that would be a brilliant addition to this Arsenal midfield, but if the reports are true and he is now worth £100 million, the Gunners board will never pay that.
They dont like to put all their eggs in one basket, so unfortunately for the fans that had hoped to one day see the player in a Gunners shirt, that may now never happen, unless the board do feel like they want to show a bit more ambition in the transfer windows.
