Arsenal still interested in signing £50M striker – who is keen on summer move

Arsenal are still interested in the possible signing of Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer window – reports have claimed
There is no doubt in the media that Mikel Arteta will be handed some funds in order to sign a striker that will solve all their problems, and that can score the goals that will take them back to the top
That has led to all sorts of speculation that Arsenal are ready to pay the big money and bring Calvert-Lewin to the Emirates – despite the very poor season that he has had with the relegation threatened Everton.
The speculation about a move to the Emirates has died down a bit over the past few weeks as Arsenal have been working on completing the signings of Fabio Vieira and Marquinhos – who have both now confirmed their moves to London
But now IcFootballnews has learned that Arsenal will step up their attempts to add a new striker to the squad – and Calvert-Lewin is a man that is still high up on the shopping list
Despite the fact the club avoided relegation down to the Championship – Lewin does not want to be in another relegation battle next season and would prefer to join a club that is fighting for a place in Europe
Arsenal do have money to spend and it is believed that a few more signing will be on the way – and with the rumours that Arsenal are struggling to convince Gabriel Jesus to complete a move from Man City – DCL is a player that many fans would like to see arrive

Look, we all believe that Lampard does want to keep hold of Calvert-Lewin – he is a brilliantly gifted striker.
But will the EVERTON board reject an offer of £50 million if it came in? We do not think so
Arsenal are a massive club that just need a couple of big signings that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League – who wouldnt want to join them
They need a powerful striker like DCL to lead that attack as someone small like Eddie Nketiah or Gabriel Jesus will not work in that attack – Arteta wants to play the Pep Guardiola way – but doesnt have the squad to do it
Arsenal are still interested in Calvert-Lewin and should make a move – it really is that simple
