15-assist winger wanted as Arsenal to submit £30 million offer and get Fraser deal done
Fresh reports have claimed Arsenal are to submit a £30 million offer to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser.
With Gunners boss Unai Emery seeking to add a bit more width and creativity to his Gunners attack, there has been some speculation in the media over the past few weeks which have suggested the Gunners could make a move to try and sign Fraser for a fee of £25 million.
Fraser has scored eight goals and registered 15 assists this term and the Scotland international has also caught the attentions of Chelsea and Liverpool.
According to The Independent, Arsenal are optimistic that they can lower Bournemouth’s asking price and are preparing to make a move after the Europa League final in Baku next Wednesday.
It is believed that Bournemouth do not want to sell the winger but would be open to a transfer deal if the chasing Premier League giants met their £50 million valuation this summer.
However, despite all the transfer speculation, Fraser has recently admitted that he has not made a decision on his future.
‘I’ve got a year left,’ he said in the Sky Sports news website.
“There’s a very good chance I’ll be here next season. If that’s that then I’m going to try my best as I always do and I’ll enjoy it. I love the group here and the fans. There’s no bad side to what’s happening.
‘There’s a good chance I’ll be here next season and I’ll try and beat my assists record next season as well.’
Fraser has had a very impressive season for Bournemouth this season and is seriously ready to take that next step up to the highest level of the game. And with Arsenal just the type of club that suits his style of play, he would be best off signing for the Gunners.
Emery will not have a lot of money to spend but £25 million on this guy could be a risk worth taking.
