Under offer! Arsenal have submitted £35 million offer to seal Serie A deal
Fresh reports have again claimed Arsenal have submitted a £35m bid for Roma star Cengiz Under.
Under has been in impressive form for Roma this season, scoring six goals and providing six assists and his performances for the Italian giants have reportedly linked him with a move to the premier League despite the fact he has a contract until 2022.
Gunners boss Unai Emery already has an array of talent in his midfield, but with with Aaron Ramsey seemingly on his way to Juventus, the Spanish boss will have a hole to fill when the Welshman finally leaves.
His displays have seen him linked with a move to the Premier League despite being under contract with the Serie A side until 2022.
And according to reports on the Daily Mirro website, Arsenal have submitted a £35 million offer to try and secure a deal for Under this month, with the player staying until the end of the season.
However, Roma are in no mood to sell and have swiftly rejected the offer as they believe the midfielder will not be sold in the coming transfer windows.
Do Arsenal need to sign a midfielder?
With all the reports suggesting Ramsey is leaving for Juventus and even more reports linking Mesut Ozil with a switch away at the end of the season, it would be a good move for Emery to try and bring in a midfielder as it would give them time to adjust before the summer window.
Under has a big price tag, and is reports are true and Arsenal have submitted an offer, then they will have to go back in and try to get a deal done as the attacking midfielder would certainly bring in a bit more creativity to the side.
