Arsenal’s transfer plan to complete £23 million Bundesliga deal in January revealed

Reports have claimed Arsenal will hope to sign Dominik Szoboszlai in the January window, but in instalments

Arsenal has axed Mesut Ozil from their first team after the German lost his creative touch and there is massive feeling in the media that he will be sold in the coming transfer window as the Gunners will seek to get him off that wage bill.

But Mikel Arteta is still in need of a creative midfielder and have been linked with a move for Houssem Aouar over the last few months, but with his £54 million asking price alot more than what Arsenal would like to pay, they have started looking at other options.

And Szoboszlai represents a cheaper alternative to the Frenchman, with reports in the media suggesting that Salzburg would be open to letting the player leave if clubs met that £23 million release clause that he currently has in his contract.

Mirror Football claims that the Gunners are prepared to make a move for him with a proposal that will see them pay his release clause, but in three instalments.

This is a similar agreement to the one that they struck with Lille for the transfer of Nicolas Pepe, but it remain unclear if Salzburg will accept it.

Szoboszlai is a very gifted midfielder that could be a star in the coming seasons, but Arsenal have proven that if they sign players that are ready now, there will be an immediate impact, and that is what they should be looking for in the coming transfer window.

So it will be interesting to see if Arsenal are able to beat off the likes of Bayern for this transfer deal dont it?
