Klopp gets all clear to make surprise Liverpool move after Arsenal make tough Sokratis decision
Liverpool have been given the all-clear to make a move for Sokratis after Arsenal terminated his contract
Now we all know that Jurgen Klopp has seen his side get plagued by injuries this season, which has cost the club some vital points, and there is alot of speculation in the media that he is eyeing up a short-term solution to his problems at the back.
And recent reports claimed that Klopp has now been offered the chance to take Sokratis from the Emirates, as he is no longer needed by current boss Mikel Arteta, and now they have been given the all clear to get a deal done after Arsenal terminated the contract of the big man
Technical director Edu said on the decision: “On behalf of Mikel, our coaches, players and everyone at the club, I would like to thank Papa for his contribution to the club.
“He has been an important part of our group and has been a model professional throughout.
“The negotiations to end his contract have been collaborative and we wish Papa and his family well for the future.”
This is a massive move from Arsenal to just terminate the contract of the big man, as he could have been useful until the end of the season. But if Liverpool do make a move for the man, he could be a decent short-term solution for the clubs injury issues this season.
But it would be a shock to see this happen
