Arsenal told 21-goal Powerhouse hitman will cost £70 Million to sign!
Arsenal have reportedly been told the price that they will need to pay if they want to sign Ivan Toney in the January window.
ARSENAL made some big signings during the summer window and made some great deals, but there is still many in the media that Mikel Arteta needs to add another striker to that attack to offer the Gunners something different.
Brentford could ask for £70millon-plus for striker Ivan Toney in the January window amid interest from Arsenal, sources have told Football Insider.
Toney, 27, returns to Brentford training on 17 September after being suspended from all football-related activity back in May, but is widely expected to leave Brighton when the next transfer window opens up.
And if you believe all the latest rumours regarding the striker – Brentford will allow him to depart the club in the January window if clubs meet the £70 million asking price, or that are prepared to offer more.
Amid all the speculation, Jay Bothroyd has backed Arsenal to sign Brentford’s banned star Ivan Toney in the January transfer window.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
The former Gunners academy ace believes that Toney would net at least 20 goals a season at the Emirates, He told Sky Sports: “[Toney’s] an A for me, he scores goals, he’s prolific, he’s strong, he leads the line really well.
“If you put him in one of the top teams he will score at least 20 Premier League goals per season.
“Great on penalties, penalties he’s unbelievable. If you took him to someone like Arsenal, I would love Arsenal to sign him now. I think he would score more goals than Jesus, than Ollie Watkins, in the Premier League.”

ARSENAL already have so many great attackers – but if they managed to add Ivan Toney to the side, Man City would really be worried about losing that Premier League title that is for sure.
