Arsenal told incoming £51M signing ‘is quality’ as January deal praised

Reporter Iomie Stanley has praised ARSENAL for pulling off a great deal for Martin Zubimendi with a move reportedly set to take place in the coming days after a deal was agreed.

Arsenal were looking to add a few more players to the side during the last summer window and were heavily linked with a move for the impressive Zubimendi – who has been very good over in La Liga over the past few seasons

In the end however, ARSENAL FC made the decision to move for a few other players and opted to not splash the £51 million it would have taken to bring Zubimendi to the Premier League.

But according to reports, Arsenal WILL sign Martin Zubimendi this summer after triggering the £51m release clause in his Real Sociedad contract, and Stanley believes that he could be a brilliant signing for the Gunners.: It appears to be a no-brainer at that fee for a player of his quality.

‘He’s been pursued by Liverpool last summer and probably by Man City last winter. But it sounds like he gave City a clear answer he didn’t want to go, so Arsenal moved on pretty quickly. We don’t know for sure, but that would be my guess.

“But Arsenal have clearly done a deal, he will be joining this summer. It’s a great deal for Arsenal at that price. It’s low risk given the quality.

‘There is a few doubts that Arsenal do not need to add a new midfielder to the side, but with Jorginho gone and Thomas Partey linked with a move away, Zubimendi is definitely an upgrade on those players.
