Arsenal told potential signing will cost £200 million to sign this summer!

It has been claimed that it would take closer to £200 million for Arsenal to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle this summer window.

Speculation has mounted over a summer move for the Swedish forward due to Newcastle’s need to balance the books for Profit and Sustainability Rules reasons, with Arsenal reportedly interested in a deal.

It was no secret that the Gunners were keen on the man way before he made the move to Newcastle – and with boss Mikel Arteta keen to add a new striker to that attack – Isak suits the style of the club.

Reports have claimed that Talks have already taken place between the two clubs but ARSENAL are not prepared to pay the £115 million that it could take to sign Isak this summer

However, according to Scott Wilson of the Northern Echo, Newcastle are demanding a fee in excess of £200 million, and retain hope of tying the player

Isak was brilliant for the Toon last season and it is very easy to see why Arsenal are very keen to try and get a transfer deal done – but £200 million is crazy money that they should not pay.

He as shown no real desire to leave – so doesnt really want to be at Arsenal – did have his injury problems before last season and has not done anything at the very top of the game to be worth so much cash.

If ARSENAL offer that much – the Toon board will accept – it is that simple as they would be crazy to turn down that kind of money. But we feel that Arsenal have kind of gone off the idea of signing Isak this summer
