Arteta told ‘go all out’ and sign 20-goals a season striker from Arsenal rivals!
Tony Cascarino has urged Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to go out and sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa to bolster their forward line this summer.
ARSENAL are seeking a new forward at the end of the season as there is massive speculation that Mikel Arteta is desperate to add a new striker to that already impressive world class Gunners attack.
Watkins was in fantastic form for Villa this season, breaking the 20 goal barrier in the Premier League and is now rated as one of the best finishers in the Premier League and a man that could lead that Arsenal attack.
Watkins is all over the headlines again this week after is stunning goal in the semi-Finals of the Euros 2024 against Holland helped England reach another final under b0ss Gareth Southgate.
Now – Arteta has been told to go all out and try to sign the striker: “I tell you what, he is an absolute pleasure to listen to and to watch,” Cascarino told talkSPORT. “We have talked at length about Ollie Watkins at Villa and how he has dragged a team. He has been outstanding for Villa.
“If Arsenal had him, they would win the title. I thought he was the best player in the Premier League last year. I have talked about Rodri, obviously, I mean, as a forward, he was certainly my outstanding forward last year.”
He added: “He has just signed a new deal, which is fantastic for Villa because they need to keep him. If I was Arteta, I would be trying my hell to get him out of Villa Park.”

Look, Watkins is happy at Villa, he is scoring goals and will be playing Champions League football -so even if ARSENAL wanted the man – they would have a very hard time convincing Aston Villa to let him leave.
