Arsenal interested in signing impressive Bundesliga star in January window

ARSENAL are reportedly considering signing Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush, as they seek to bolsters their attack when the transfer window opens up in the January window, per transfer journalist Ekrem Konur.

Marmoush has been in brilliant form for the Bundesliga giants so far this term and is drawing all sorts of attention from some of the biggest teams in the Premier League, including the likes of ARSENAL – who are always looking to add to their squad.

The Gunners  have one of the biggest squads in Europe – but with a number of players expected to leave in the coming windows – there will be some space for the likes of Marmoosh to come in and try to make an impact in that Mikel Arteta’s side.

Now writing on X, Konur states that Arsenal are interested in signing a new striker with Marmoush on their wish-list: He wrote: “Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush is a transfer target for FC Barcelona, who see him as a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski.

‘Barcelona see the Egyptian player as a viable €60 million option. However, Barcelona face competition from English clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool, especially in terms of wage offers.”

Eintracht Frankfurt director of football Markus Krosche recently opened the door to the potential sale of Omar Marmoush in the January transfer window

Speaking to German media, Krosche said: “It is true that Omar made a very clear commitment to us in the summer. He has developed well and still has a lot of potential to develop further.

“For us, we don’t want to lose so many key players. I have to honestly say that no Eintracht player is unsellable but we want to keep the team together. I talk about Marmoush after every game. But that’s a good thing. Omar gives our game an incredible amount.”

The lad is a talent – he is scoring goals for fun – but we are not sure that he will impress at ARSENAL – he is not at the level yet that Mikel Arteta probably needs.
