Arsenal welcome BRAND NEW signing – Brazilian can join Arsenal for £76M – Agent gives Arsenal green light sign attacker
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Barcelona have reportedly named their price for Brazil winger Raphinha – but he will cost Arsenal some serious money if they want to sign the star.
During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.
Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player, according to recent reports.
Now the SUN have claimed that the LaLiga club have slapped a £76.1million fee on the wideman’s head as they seek to raise funds in order to sign top transfer target Nico Williams by the end of the transfer window.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few weeks about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that Arsenal need at this stage?
ARSENAL already have so many quality wingers – so adding another one is not really on the agenda – which is why we believe the Gunners will decide to not make a move for the Brazilian unless it is for a real bargain.
ARSENAL SIGN CALAFIORI –
Italy international Riccardo Calafiori has joined us from Serie A side Bologna on a long-term contract.
Arsenal posted on the club website: ‘The 22-year-old defender was a member of the Azzurri squad at Euro 2024, after a season full of impressive performances at the heart of Bologna’s defence.
‘Riccardo started his career in the youth academy at Roma, where he spent 12 years developing from the youth set-up into the first-team. During his time there, he gained valuable experience on loan at fellow Italian side Genoa during the 2021/22 season.
‘In August 2022, the young defender, who has represented his national team at every age group, moved to Swiss side Basel, where he was a regular and made 26 league appearances that season. His high-quality performances resulted in a return to his homeland, with the imposing defender transferring to Bologna in August 2023
‘Riccardo will wear the number 33 shirt and has travelled to the US to join up with his new teammates in Philadelphia, as we continue our preparations ahead of the 2024/25 season.
‘Our next match is against Liverpool on Wednesday, July 31, and a limited amount of tickets are still available. You can also stream the game live on our channels by purchasing a Match Pass.
‘Everyone at ARSENAL welcomes Riccardo to the club.’
Bacary Sagna has praised the Gunners chase for Calafiori – He told Paddy Power: “Riccardo Calafiori is very good – I’ve followed him a lot in Serie A this season.
“I’ve seen a lot of Bologna games, and he’s one of the reasons they were able to qualify for the Champions League.
“He’s calm and composed on the ball – he can break lines by committing and help the side out offensively. He’d be a fantastic player for Arsenal – any club he would join, he would be a fantastic addition.”
MOUKOKO GREEN LIGHT GIVEN –
The agent of Borussia Dortmund player Yousouffa Moukoko has told the likes of Chelsea that the talented star wants to leave the Bundesliga giants.
The German teenager is set to leave Borussia Dortmund, after finding first team opportunities hard to come by.
The likes of Chelsea, ARSENAL, Manchester United and a number of other clubs have now been placed on alert after Moukoko’s agent, Patrick Williams, the senior vice president of global football in Germany at Wasserman, has acknowledged that the young man will need to leave Dortmund
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Williams has announced Moukoko plans to leave Dortmund. “Youssoufa has a huge potential, which, unfortunately, he couldn‘t show last season,” Williams is quoted as saying. “I think the fact that he scored five goals in 613 minutes says everything about his quality. Few players in the Bundesliga have such a rate
“Youssoufa was promised a lot before he signed, but it wasn’t realized. He was always only interested in playing and in his development – not in anything else, just like the media reports always claimed. If it had been about the money, he could have accepted other lucrative offers where he could have earned more than three times as much.
“Media always portray him as a loser, whether in training or the ongoing season. The only thing he wants is to play, and if he is asked to go out and play, we’d have no stress
“It’s not a secret that there are enough clubs out here who believe in Youssoufa’s qualities and want him in their team. I say BVB is making a mistake in giving Youssoufa away. With so little playing time, everyone will know that Youssoufa’s market value will be low, and Dortmund can’t expect much.
“We wanted it to be different, but that’s the football business. Youssoufa is totally clear in his mind, extremely focused and knows what he wants to drive his career forward. Now we are sounding out interest from England, Spain and France”.
