Arsenal linked with stunning £38M move on London rivals for World Cup star
Paqueta was a player that all the big clubs were very much interested in signing over the course of the transfer window – but despite all the rumours – it was the Hammers that managed to seal a deal for the man
He arrived after the club paid a massive £38 million to get a deal done – but adjusting to the Premier League has not been easy to do for the former Ligue 1 star and he has had to work hard to start to prove himself
Arsenal have surprised many with their form so far this season, heading the Premier League table before the World Cup break, 5 points ahead of Manchester City.
However, manager Mikel Arteta knows that they need more depth to see it through till the last matchday. As per Fichajes, the Gunners are considering making a move for Paquetá to reinforce their midfield.
The reports says that Paqueta has not quite adapted to the Premier League and Perhaps he would be better suited to Arteta’s style of football.
It was a massive surprise to see that Paqueta joined West Ham in the summer – he is a Champions League proven player and a member of that Brazilian squad.
He certainly is a player for the big occasions, and it will be very hard to Prise him away from the Hammers – when he is tied down to a massive contract.
Even if he has a poor season this year, we can’t see Paqueta leaving in the January window or at the end of the season – unless he demands a move – or a sensational offer arrives.
This is one rumours that doesn’t really have any substance to it.
