£50 million man using Arsenal ‘ as a stepping stone’ to get bigger move, fans are told!

Arsenal are close to clinching a £50m deal for Ben White, but Darren Ambrose expressed his surprise at the deal
The England centre-back, 23, is set to join the Gunners after Brighton accepted their offer last week of around £50 million as Mikel Arteta is desperate to improve that back-line this transfer window
White is currently on holiday after being at the Euros. but he has already agreed personal terms and will undergo a medical on his return from holiday, which is the only thing holding up a possible deal
Reacting to the news of the defender’s impending move to Arsenal, Ambrose expressed his surprise at the deal and that he has opted to head to the Emirates rather than a bigger club in the Premier League
“If I was Ben White, I probably would have held out a little bit and seen if a bigger club in the Premier League at present would have taken me,” he said on TalkSport
“He may have done already but it seems very early on in the window to be doing this.
“But is he using this as a stepping stone? He’s come from Leeds, then to Brighton, now he’s going to go to Arsenal.
“Is he looking in two or three years either Arsenal push on and go back to the Arsenal we know they can get to or is he going to move to an even bigger club currently in the Premier League?”
Roundup…
White is a brilliant defender and it has been a shock to see that Arsenal are willing to pay his massive £50 million asking fee. But we are a little surprised that he hasnt decided to join the likes of Chelsea, United or City, but the Emirates is where he wants to be

Stepping stone? Oh! Come on, come on, sometimes you guys write thrash. Name the clubs in Europe and England bigger than Arsenal. Just a handful. Just because we’re going through a redesign after our long spell with Arsene Wenger, we’re still a big club. Ben White can not have it bigger than Arsenal.
