Arsenal dive into transfer kitty and sign highly exciting Danish midfielder

Kathrine Kuhl has officially joined Arsenal this January window – and is delighted to have made the move to London

Right now the Gunners are sitting second in the WSL behind Leaders Chelsea and know that they need to add some more depth to the squad, as injuries have meant that they have dropped points when they should have picked up all three.

Jonas Eidavall knows that he needs to strengthen his squad this transfer window – and has made moves to get some deals done – with Kuhl the latest name to make the move to the club.

Now – she has admitted that she can’t wait to get started in the Women’s Super League: “I was ready for a new and bigger challenge,” Kathrine told Arsenal.com

“Making the step to the English league is a dream come true for me and when Arsenal were interested, it was such a great opportunity.”

“There are so many great things around the club and all the fans and the community – it’s like a sisterhood. I’m looking forward to being a part of that!”

“I try to focus on the game and every training every week to get better. I’m really focusing on my development and I’m still quite young so I have a lot to work on, which I’m doing every week. I hope that I can continue that work at Arsenal.”

“It feels like another dream come true. And when the dream does come true, I set new goals for myself. I can’t wait to see what the future brings me. I’m really looking forward to it.

IcFootballnews verdict…

Kuhl may not be the biggest name in the womens game and may not be a player that Arsenal fans are excited about – but she really has alot of talent.

She will get many bums off seats in excitement as she really has alot of potential – so this is a very good move from Eidavall that is for sure
