Mikel Arteta ‘has asked’ Arsenal to make January move and bring midfielder Isco to the Emirates
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reportedly urged the club to make a move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco in January.
Arsenal have just spent some serious amount of money on improving their squad over the last transfer window, and have put together a pretty good side, but they are lacking a bit of creativity in that middield.
Mikel Arteta has made no secret of his desire to add to that midfield in the coming transfer windows, and there has been alot of speculation in the media which have suggested that Arsenal have expressed an interest in trying to sign the Spaniard.
Now Defensa Central reports the Spaniard is keen on a loan move with the option to buy in the summer, with the reports suggesting that Los Blancos are open to negotiations after Arteta reportedly asked Arsenal to complete a transfer deal for Isco.
It comes after his agent recently admitted that he wants to test himself in another league, Alcarcon told El Larguero: “Right now we have not received offers, but he wants to try another league.”
Isco is a brilliant player and it has been a shock to see that he is not able to get the game time that he wants, especially as Madrid have been struggling for goals already this season.
However, there are a number of clubs in the Premier League that would love to have him in their squad, so if he really wants to change Leagues, then Arsenal should make a move in January as they are definitely a side that is lacking a player like him in that squad.
So it will be interesting to see where he ends up in the coming windows, as there will surely be alot of interest in the man.
